Casey Gioeli PT, owner and Clinic Manager

Casey has been a Physical Therapist for almost 30 years, having graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY in 1986. Casey has extensive experience in the treatment of neurological and orthopedic diagnosis and has been working with both men and women with pelvic floor pain; and urinary and fecal incontinence for the last two years. In addition, Casey treats patients suffering from Lymphedema, performs all of our Functional Capacity Evaluations, and utilizes Dry Needling, a specialized technique to address muscle pain and dysfunction in patients. In her free time you can find her studying Spanish, riding her bicycle, or planning her next trip to a foreign country.

 

 

Debra Fragala Pories

 

 Lesley Powers, DPT

A South Carolina transplant drawn to WV for all the out door recreational opportunities including rock climbing, mountain biking, and playing on the river.  Lesley has an under graduate in Exercise Science from the College of Charleston.  She then graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy University of South Carolina in 2009.  Lesley has worked with a wide variety of patient's that spans all age ranges with a multitude of diagnoses. When asked what she likes best about being a Physical Therapist Lesley stated “Part of what I love about being a PT is the variety in my work, as every person/patient I meet is different.”  When not working at the clinic, building a house or setting up a homestead with her husband Donnie, they still get out to enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, or kayaking/rafting on the river.

 

Krystal Dale DPT

Krystal joined our team in August, 2014.  She recently moved here from Keyser, WV, where she practiced for a little over four years in an acute care and outpatient setting. Krystal graduated in 2010 from West Virginia University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She enjoys working closely with Orthopedic conditions and is planning to undergo further education in Women’s Health for pelvic floor dysfunction and pain.  In her spare time, she enjoys hiking/being outside, playing with her pups, or traveling across the country with her husband.

Tina Lilly PTA

Began working at Active Recovery in October 2014 with 8 years experience in outpatient rehabilitation after earning an Associates degree from Mountain State University.

Tina enjoys the friendly atmosphere here at Active and helping patients feel better about themselves while treating their physical alignments. Tina is married with one son who who attends Oak Hill High Schoo. Tina spends her time raising her son with her husband while helping to prepare him for college. She enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends.

 

Jennifer Sauls PTA

Jennifer started her career in Physical Therapy working at Active Recovery in the spring of 2013. As a youth she competed in gymnastics up through level 8. She has coached gymnastics for 8 years in Beckley and for AFC gymnastics in Oak Hill. Jennifer was recently married in April 2014 and has four stepchildren. She enjoys gymnastics and playing tennis in her free-time. Jennifer enjoys being a PTA and helping making people with their balance and becoming stronger. She particularly enjoys working with children in a fitness and wellness setting and at church.  She finds very rewarding to help people get back to doing their daily activities.

Tasha Hanks, PTA
The Mountain State University graduate began working at our facility in April 2015. She holds a degree in physical therapy and science. She likes to travel, loves spending time with her dog and enjoys being a physical therapist and helping people recover. Tasha has worked in every setting - from skilled therapy, home health, hospital settings and now, outpatient rehabilitation.
